A science-backed, personalised approach to Arthritis

Arthritis
Arthritis is characterised by inflammation of one or more joints that leads to pain, swelling, reduced range of motion and stiffness.
Different types of arthritis exist,

Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. Some people call it a degenerative joint disease or “wear and tear” arthritis. It occurs most frequently in the hands, hips, and knees.
New research indicates that lifestyle factors contributing to a ‘whole body inflammatory response’ is a significant factor in the development of OA, and the condition is not merely due to joint wear and tear.

RA
RA is different from osteoarthritis because it is an autoimmune disease, which means the immune system attacks the body’s tissues. Autoimmune disease can target any part of the body, including the brain, the eyes, the colon and the skin. But with RA, the immune system attacks the joints, fluid, and tissues around them, causing the cartilage, bone, and ligaments to deteriorate and cause pain, swelling and stiffness. RA often targets the wrist, hands, feet, ankles, and knees.

Lupus

The autoimmune disease lupus impacts numerous organs in the body. The most prevalent type of Lupus is systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). However, other varieties might manifest differently. Like other autoimmune disorders, Lupus is brought on by an immune system attacking healthy tissue and organs. Lupus can harm the skin, blood vessels, joints, lungs, kidneys, brain, and other organs.
The four primary varieties are systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), cutaneous/discoid Lupus, drug-induced Lupus, and neonatal Lupus.

The most severe form of Lupus (SLE), which affects numerous organs at once, affects various body parts and timeframes differently in each of these variants. As a result, mild to severe lupus symptoms might occur, and the disease can be fatal if not treated properly.
An estimated 1.5 million Americans have Lupus, the majority of whom are female. Nine out of ten lupus sufferers are believed to be female. Although there is no established cause for Lupus, there is a possible connection between the disease and hormone changes, the environment, and heredity.

Four factors of influence

Environment, Lifestyle, Mindset, Nutrition. All four factors, individually and collectively, produce the results of what manifests as health or illness. The environment can either lend a positive contribution or exert significant detriment. Lifestyle translates into quantifiable effects on health. Mindset produces a biological response as determined by your outlook and belief. Nutrition is the process of tuning and synchronising elements to become part of you. These are where the five causes of disease are manifested
